Scott Allred is interested in formal aesthetic relationships. In the drawing process shape is what makes the subject recognizable and value execution makes the subject believable. His work consists primarily of figure studies, portraits, and large biblical narratives in the tradition of historic masterpieces. It is his desire to revisit this imagery in his drawings and paintings. Scott received his Masters of Fine Arts from Utah State University.
